New Apartment Complex Prospected For 226 North Berendo Street, Koreatown, Los Angeles

Located in the heart of Koreatown, Orbinvest Capital has gotten the green light to create a new and affordable apartment complex. The building will be within walking distance of both the subway line and bus stops circulating the greater Los Angeles area. When the site is complete, Orbinvest Capital aim to have a welcoming environment that feels new but that is also inspired by the history of the buildings within the city limits.

A Five-Story Multi-Family Residential Building At 611 N Manhattan Place

Permits have been submitted seeking the approval of constructing a five-story residence at 611 N Manhattan Place. The project proposal includes the demolition of the existing structures and construction and maintenance of a multi-family residential building with 14 dwelling units.
Uriu & Associates is managing the design concept and construction of the project.

“City Lights” Takes Shape at 4531 West Hollywood Boulevard, in East Hollywood

“City Lights,” the new project at 4531 West Hollywood Boulevard, in East Hollywood, has reached structural height. WPIC construction has yet to finish the exterior, but the essential form is visible as the 70.6 feet tall, 438 feet long, 403 feet wide building takes shape, on the busy, corner-shaped lot.

2968 West 7th Street tops out in Koreatown, Los Angeles

2968 West 7th Street has reached its structural height in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project, entitled “Nexen,” is a partnership between Jamison Services and City Century, who filed for a $27 million permit valuation. The seven-story structure is beginning to take shape on a parcel once occupied by surface parking and a single-story commercial building.

Mixed Use Complex Approved for 1501 North Fairfax Avenue, In Hollywood, Los Angeles

On December 9, 2020 the Director of Planning for the city of Los Angeles approved Skyview Sunset’s bid to begin the process of implementing a new living space on 1501 North Fairfax Avenue. Located on the cross streets of Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue, this new development will also be within walking distance of a multitude of Metro Bus Lines.

Construction Rises at 1530 North Cassil Place, in Hollywood, Los Angeles

Framing has started to rise at 1530 North Cassil Place, in Hollywood, for development by Bond Companies, which has firms in Chicago and Los Angeles. Entitled, “Inspire Hollywood,” the structure is tucked a few plots away from Sunset Boulevard. As part of the Transit Oriented Communities program, it is a short distance from the Red Line.

Exterior construction has nearly finished at 6711 Sepulveda Boulevard, in Westchester. The building is located next door to our previous post, at 6733 South Sepulveda Boulevard. The project is for the Hanover Company, which is headquartered in Texas, but has properties throughout the United States.

Construction has started at 6733 South Sepulveda Boulevard, in Westchester. The development, by Sandstone Properties, was designed to attract the attention of local tech giant employees.

Construction Rising for Alexan NoHo West at 11950 West Erwin Street, North Hollywood, Los Angeles

Construction has reached the second floor for The Alexan NoHo West, a two-structure residential project at 11950 West Erwin Street in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. Crow Holdings and Baring Real Estate are working together on the project as joint-developers. The site is one of several properties led by Crown Holdings in greater Los Angeles. Although the development company is based out of Texas, it has ‘Alexan’ branded properties in states across the country, such as Florida, Massachusetts, and Colorado. They closed on this land in 2018. A Macy’s store and parking lot used to be near the location.

New Apartment Complex Planned For 1432 South Beverly Drive, Los Angeles

Permits have been filed seeking the approval of constructing a new six-story apartment building at 1432 S Beverly Drive. The project proposal includes demolishing an existing duplex to construct the new apartment building. The Albert Group Architects is managing the design concepts and construction of the project.
