A new affordable housing project is under construction at 1708 East 61st Street in Florence-Graham. The project proposal includes the construction of a four-story building on an empty lot next to the A Line.
Khal Khaireddin Architects and Tine Chee Landscape Studio are managing the design concept and construction of the project. RxLA is the developer invested in the project.
Real estate developer, City Century, seeks approval to demolish a 1930s structure at 1201 South Grand Avenue in South Park, Los Angeles to develop a forty-story apartment complex with retail space and on-site parking. The developer is aiming for groundbreaking in early 2022. MVE + Partners is managing the design concept and construction of the project.
“Nova” has opened In Koreatown. The project at 3980 West Wilshire Boulevard was developed by Jamison Properties. It will bring denser housing and retail to the 1.05-acre lot. The building is seven stories high with a mezzanine on one level.
The exterior of 5570 West Melrose Avenue, in Hollywood Los Angeles, is nearing completion. Crescent Capital Partners is partnered with Bolour Associates in developing the site. The project will bring denser residential units and commercial space close to Paramount Pictures.
Steel framing can be seen taking the form to remodel and expand the Westfield Topanga shopping mall in Warner Center at 6600 Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Canoga Park. The property owner, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, has successfully initiated the process of converting the 160,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Sears into a variety of new uses, including a food hall with sit-down restaurants, bars, and lounges. The project will have new plazas and landscaped areas.
