Site Preparation Begins For a Tower At 1000 South Hill Street In Downtown Los Angeles

A new residential tower will soon be seen soaring high at 1000 South Hill Street in Downtown Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a 60-story high-rise, offering residential units and onsite amenities. The project replaces an onsite surface parking lot before breaking ground. Canadian real estate development firm, Onni Group, is the project builder. IBI Group and Chris Dikeakos Architects are responsible for the design concepts.

The project proposal includes the development of suppotive housing units for seniors. Plans call for the demolition of a commercial building on the site. IKAR has teamed up with Community Corp. of Santa Monica to develop the project.  IKAR acquired for $6.9 million in 2020.
