Construction Underway for 1950 South Avenue of The Stars in Century City

Vertical progress is steadily unfolding at 1950 South Avenue of The Stars, a 37-story office skyscraper in the heart of Century City, Los Angeles. Designed by Johnson Fain and developed by JMB Realty, the mixed-use project will eventually top out at 564 feet tall, yield a total of 730,000 square feet of new office space to become the new homes for CAA and Clearlake Capital, and offer ground-floor retail space. The property is being built next to the under-construction Century City Metro station, with two acres of gardens and courtyards atop a basement parking garage, bound by Avenue of the Stars and Constellation Boulevard.

A new mixed-use project is under construction taking shape and form at 611 North Virgil Avenue in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new mixed-use project rising five stories high, offering commercial and residential spaces. Culver City-based Continental Development Group, LLC is the project developer. Kevin Tsai Architecture is responsible for the designs. MID Construction is the project’s general contractor.

A new mixed-use residential project has been proposed for development at 1445 North Las Palmas Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new seven-story mixed-use building offering spaces for residential and retail uses. The project site formerly housed the Hollywood Playhouse theater, a long-vacant structure which was caught in a fire in 2022. An entity affiliated with Los Angeles-based And Asset Management is the project developer. Urban Design Specialists is responsible for the designs.
