Affordable Residences Planned For 801-809 E Santa Ana Boulevard, Los Angeles

Affordable housing has been proposed on a vacant lot fronting the Santa Ana railroad at 801-809 E Santa Ana Boulevard. The project proposal includes constructing affordable residences for applicants earning less than 30 percent of the area’s median income for 55 years.
HomeAid Orange County is the non-profit developer invested in the project. Bassenian Lagoni Architects is managing the design concepts and construction of the housing development.

Framework is starting to rise at 12101 West Olympic Boulevard in West Los Angeles. The 4.8-acre site used to belong to Martin Cadillac, which has relocated to make way for Martin Expo Town Center, a development of office buildings, retail, and housing. Hines, USAA Real Estate, and Philena Properties are currently developing the property.

6390 De Longpre Avenue, in Hollywood, is reaching completion. The housing highrise is one of the remaining steps in the new Netflix campus. Webcore Construction, of Alameda, is the major contractor behind the project. Kilroy is the developer, aiming to make the city block reflect a modern-day work environment.

The “Lumina” in Hollywood is starting to fill up with residents at 5929 West Sunset Boulevard. The project has changed ownership several times, but most recently, it was developed by CIM Group, although they had to make updates replicate the historic street front, with retail space.

Permits Filed For New Addition At 927 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica

Development permits have been submitted seeking the approval of new addition to the existing double-story apartment building at 927 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica. The project proposal includes adding a third-story addition to the existing landmark; a sixteen-unit residential building.
The existing building was developed by Taksa Investment Group. Howard Laks Architects managed the design concept and plans for the project.

The exterior of 21050 West Kittredge Street, in Canoga Park, is close to being finished. The seven story building is another development by Hanover Company, who are also handling the construction. It is named the Hanover Warner Center.

A new living space is coming to 319 North Westlake Avenue which will be conveniently located near the 101 freeway as well as two metro bus lines deeming it to be a part of Los Angeles’ many transit oriented communities. Mountain View North LLC has got the green light to help reinvent this already changing neighborhood by providing affordable housing for extremely low and very low income households.

Fairmont’s Miramar Hotel To Add Affordable Housing At 1127 2nd Street, Santa Monica

Santa Monica Planning Commission has approved the construction of a new housing project consisting of a five-story building at 1127 2nd Street, Santa Monica. The project is a part of bigger project aimed at expanding Fairmont’s Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica. The Miramar owns a parking lot across the street at 1127 Second Street, where the housing project will be built.
Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects is responsible for design concepts and construction. Landscape architecture firm Gustafson Guthrie Nichol is designing approximately 14,000 square feet of landscaped spaces. MSD Capital is the project developer.

The lot at 7700 North Woodman Avenue has been cleared in preparation for new development in Panorama City, just West of Burbank. The location used to be several smaller buildings and a parking lot. Now, plans by USA Properties, a Roseville, California-based developer, call for a five-story residential building entitled “The Colony.”
