Residential Complex Planned for 235 North Hoover Street in Rampart Village

Construction is starting to rise at 235 North Hoover Street in Rampart Village, Los Angeles. La Terra Development and Gemdale USA are developing the project entitled, “Pinnacle 360.” It is appropriately named, as the location, on top of a hill, will have unobstructed views of Hollywood, the Hollywood Hills, the Hollywood sign, Griffith Observatory, Silver Lake, Koreatown, Century City, and the skyline of Downtown Los Angeles.

The first levels of 2528 South Grand Avenue, in Historic South Central Los Angeles, are starting to take shape. Cityview is the developer, with WPIC Construction as a major contractor on the 2.01 acre lot. The seven-story, mixed-use building, is expected to open in early 2023.

Stories are rising at 3170 West Olympic Boulevard, in Koreatown. The project has been dubbed “The Bora.” Previously, ground-level buildings on the site were demolished a couple of years ago. Bando Dela Corp recently purchased the site for $20.3 million.

Construction has started on a mixed-use apartment building with some low-income housing at 6933 West Santa Monica Boulevard, in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Onni Contracting, a Canadian company with projects across North America, is the developer behind the project. They have titled it “MR2 Lofts.” The site used to be 15,000 square feet of commercial space, with a single-level building and automotive storage.

New Apartment Complex Prospected For 226 North Berendo Street, Koreatown, Los Angeles

Located in the heart of Koreatown, Orbinvest Capital has gotten the green light to create a new and affordable apartment complex. The building will be within walking distance of both the subway line and bus stops circulating the greater Los Angeles area. When the site is complete, Orbinvest Capital aim to have a welcoming environment that feels new but that is also inspired by the history of the buildings within the city limits.

Groundbreaking for Hollywood Arts Collective at 1630 North Schrader Boulevard, Hollywood

Construction crews are in the process of excavation for a seven-story mixed-use apartment building at 1630 North Schrader Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Dubbed the Hollywood Arts Collective, the $120 million project will replace a 149-car surface parking lot with affordable housing for artists, performing arts space, gallery, and rehearsal studios. Thomas Safran and Associates is responsible the development as the applicant and property owner.
