Long Beach and its Mayor Robert Garcia celebrated the completion of a mixed-use supportive housing complex at 1900 Long Beach Boulevard in Midtown, Long Beach. The project brings affordable and supportive housing units near the Metro A Line’s PCH station. Linc Housing is the project developer. City Fabrick, D33 Design, and WHA Architects are responsible for the design concepts and construction.
Expansion is underway for a multifamily residential project planned at 3812 South Dunn Drive in Palms, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of forty-two apartments that will be appended to an existing building developed by the same developer. West Los Angeles-based developer, California Landmark Group (CLG), acquired the Dunn Drive site in 2018 from Napa Industries for $7 million.
Levels are starting to rise at 1507 South Hi Point Street, in Faircrest Heights. It will bring denser housing to the area, replacing a couple of single-family structures, and adding a couple of low-income housing units to the area. Evolve Realty & Development Corporation is building out the project, according to posted signage.
Construction is nearly finished at 1319 South Orange Grove Avenue, in Carthay Square. The distinct design blends classic elements with a contemporary facade. It will bring denser housing, as well as a few low-income units to the area.
The Metropointe has opened at 3524 Chesapeake Avenue, in West Adams. The project has increased density at the location by up to 70 percent. Schaffel Development Company is behind the two building projects, referred to as Metropoine North and Metropoine South.
