The project proposal includes the development of affodable housing complexes featuring studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments. Ormond Beach Villas has opened at 5527-5567 Saviers Road, in Oxnard. Many Mansions developed the project to aid Veterans and homeless Veterans, particularly non-elderly persons with disabilities transitioning out of institutional settings and at risk of becoming homeless. The project received funding through the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura and Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura.
New townhomes have been approved for 5489 Saviers Road, in Oxnard. JBGR Investments is the developer for the project. Four of the units will be low income housing. For incentives, there will be a reduction in the required front yard setback from 25 feet to 15 feet, and a reduction in the required interior yard space requirement of 30% to 16%.
