Governor Newsom recently announced $125 million in state funding for the construction of veteran’s supportive housing developments across California. More than half of the funding will go toward eight projects in Los Angeles, creating more than 300 homes.
New Townhomes have been proposed for the Northeast corner of Pleasant Valley and Lewis Roads, in Camarillo. Williams Homes, of Santa Clarita, is listed as the developer for the project. Several extensions have been filed delaying the project, although plans were approved in 2016.

Four years after its announcement and groundbreaking, a mixed-use apartment complex has neared completion at 5750 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story mixed-use building featuring commercial and residential spaces. Atlanta-based firm Wood Partners is the project developer. Carrier Johnson + Culture is responsible for the design concepts.

The project proposal includes the development of a residential project featuring an eldercare facility and small-lot houses. Plans call for the demolition of a series of commercial buildings housing an automobile rental business. Spokane-based real estate firm SRM Development is the project developer. Urbal Architecture is responsible for the design concepts.
