New mixed-use development can be seen taking its shape at 3617-3625 Venice Boulevard in Arlington Heights, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story residential building with commercial space and parking spaces. Architects Sammie Tabrizi is responsible for the design concepts of the apartments. The project is developed by Schon Tepler Group.
6600 Van Nuys Boulevard has topped out. Kitvan is the developer behind the project, which will bring denser housing as well as more ground-level commercial space to Van Nuys. The new development is replacing a small commercial building.
“The Q Topanga” is starting to take shape at 6263 Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Warner Center, Los Angeles. It is the second in a series of three developments being constructed by California Home Builders. The first is “The Q Variel,” which is currently leasing, the third will be “The Q De Soto,” which is expected to open in 2024. The designs aim to attract young professionals and millennials in a market that has become increasingly competitive.
The exterior of “Essence Apartments” is wrapping up at 6041 Variel Avenue in Woodland Hills. BCEG purchased the three-acre lot in 2016. The building is the first phase of the development, followed by a 12 story office tower.
Ground has been broken at 777 North Front Street for the massive LaTerra Select project in Burbank, Los Angeles. The site will bring much-needed housing to Burbank, which has one of, if not the highest, shortages of housing to job ratios in the state, with employers such as Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, and Nickelodeon Animation located close by. The site will be the largest of LaTerra’s developments to date.
