New apartments have been approved for 99 South Glenn Drive, in Camarillo. Lustra Development is behind the new plan, which will include some ground floor commercial space, and a couple of low income units. Planning documents refer to the site as “Vista Terraza.”
Las Positas apartments have opened at the corner of Ponderosa Drive and Camino Tierra Santa, in Camarillo. The project, by Fore Property, is an expansion of the developing community located in the West side of Camarillo, just North of the 101 Freeway. The development provides additional rental residences and commercial space to the area, on nearly four acres of land.
A mixed-use building has began construction at 1800 Beverly in Westlake, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a six-story mixed-use development featuring residential and commercial spaces along with onsite amenities and parking. Cityview, Clark Building Group, and Nadia Geller Designs are on the project development team. AC Martin s is responsible for the design concepts.
Ground has been broken for 11101 Carlos Street, in Ventura. The project has been titled “Citrus III,” by developer Daly Group. The first Citrus apartments have been completed a few streets away, and work is starting for Citrus II, which is across the street from the original Citrus building.
An affordable housing project has been proposed at 901-941 East Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach. The project proposal includes the development of affordable housing for seniors, replacing a collection of small commercial buildings. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has approved the release of up to $24.3M in bond funding for the construction of the mixed-use project. Mercy Housing of California is the project sponsor. Studio One Eleven is responsible for the design concepts.
