Pre-leasing has begun at 227 N First Street, in Burbank, according to signage posted on the building. The project, entitled “First Street Village,” is the beginning of the development of the site, which will contain three separate buildings that are rolling out in phases. Del Rey Properties is the developer, with Chandler Partners serving as the project’s general contractor.
107 South Hewitt Street, between the Arts District and Little Tokyo, is nearly complete. The project is a collaboration between Boulevard Partners and Bridge Investment Group. The site is a couple of blocks away from LA Union Station, the hub for connections throughout the county. A website, recently launched for the complex, states that the site will be, “Welcoming you home soon,” and offers a simulation of the one site views of Downtown Los Angeles from the upper floors.
Roughly since six years of the project being announced, new options are being considered for a mixed-use high-rise complex proposed at 670 Mesquit in the historic Arts District of Los Angeles. Bjarke Ingels and Gruen Associates are responsible for the designs.
A new residential project is all set for construction at 141 Avenue 34 in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of large-scale mixed-use apartment complex constructed near the L Line’s Heritage Square Station. The project would rise from a former industrial site. Pinyon Group is the project developer. KFA Architecture is responsible for the designs.
A new small-scale mixed-use project has been proposed for development at 2668 2nd Street in Santa Monica. The project proposal includes the development of a two-story building offering residential and retail spaces. An asphalt surface parking lot on the site could be razed for the mixed-use building. Redcar Properties is the project owner. Kevin Daly Architects is responsible for the designs.
