A residential project has been proposed at 3800 West 6th Street in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a complex featuring residences and retail spaces. After failing to secure tax incentives for a hotel project, the owners of the site are opting to entitle the property for a mixed-use residential development. TCA Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
A new residential high-rise has been proposed at 333 South Hope Street in downtown, Los Angeles. The proposed project includes the development of a 34-story tower in Bank of America Plaza. The new development will replace a portion of the building’s plaza and parking structure. New York-based real estate firm Brookfield is the project developer. LARGE Architecture is responsible for the design concepts. Relm Studio is managing the landscape architecture.
Site preparation has begun for an affordable housing project proposed at 1500 East Anaheim Boulevard in central Long Beach. The project proposal includes the development of a mixed-use building offering residential and retail spaces. Non-profit developer BRIDGE Housing Corp is the project developer. SVA Architects is responsible for the design concepts. R.D. Olson Construction is the general contractor.
New apartments have been approved for 99 South Glenn Drive, in Camarillo. Lustra Development is behind the new plan, which will include some ground floor commercial space, and a couple of low income units. Planning documents refer to the site as “Vista Terraza.”
Las Positas apartments have opened at the corner of Ponderosa Drive and Camino Tierra Santa, in Camarillo. The project, by Fore Property, is an expansion of the developing community located in the West side of Camarillo, just North of the 101 Freeway. The development provides additional rental residences and commercial space to the area, on nearly four acres of land.
