Steel framing has been completed for a mixed-use project at 500 Broadway in downtown Santa Monica. The project proposal includes the construction of a seven-story building offering apartments and retail space. The project replaced a Fred Segal store. Witkoff and New Valley LLC have teamed up to develop the project. Koning Eizenberg Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction.

Development and Land Preserve Proposed by Avalon Homes in Oxnard

A new project has been proposed in Oxnard, entitled Avalon Homes. Oxnard Dunes, LLC is the applicant. The site would develop part of the property bordered by Harbor Boulevard and West Fifth Street, north of the existing Oxnard Dunes Subdivision. The site is currently vacant and undeveloped land, made of disturbed sand surfaces, as well as native and invasive plants.
