A new residential tower in coming to a site proposed at 1050 La Cienega Boulevard in Carthay Square, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a high-rise tower offering residential, retail, and open spaces on an empty lot. The property was previously entitled for a seven-story apartment building. CP VIII La Cienega LLC, an entity affiliated with San Francisco-based developer Carmel Partners, is the property owner. Solomon Cordwell Buenz is responsible for the design concepts.

$276M Loan Granted For New Chargers Head Quarters In El Segundo, Los Angeles

A few months ago, plans to set up a practice facility campus in El Segundo were announced for NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers. The project proposal includes the development of a new Chargers headquarters and practice facility for LA Chargers. The project has been granted &276 million in funds to begin construction. Continental Development Corporation and Mar Ventures Inc. are the project developers. New York-based CLT Capital LLC is providing funding for the loan. Gensler Sports is responsible for the design concepts.

Senior Supportive Housing Planned At 1737 South La Cienega Boulevard, Pico-Robertson, Los Angeles

A new supportive housing project for seniors has been propsoed at 1737 South La Cienega Boulevard in Pico-Robertson, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of suppotive housing units for seniors. Plans call for the demolition of a commercial building on the site. IKAR has teamed up with Community Corp. of Santa Monica to develop the project.  IKAR acquired for $6.9 million in 2020.
