An apartment complex broke ground a few weeks ago and is under construction at 1130-1134 Orange Drive, Hollywood. The project proposal includes the construction of a six-story apartment complex with on-site parking. Foundation work can now be seen on the project site. Los Angeles-based firm Massachi Industries is the project developer. OfficeUntitled is managing the design concepts and construction.
Framing is continuing to rise at 227 North First Street, in Burbank, Los Angeles. The project is entitled “1st Street Village.” Del Rey Properties is the developer, with Chandler Partners working as the project’s general contractor.
Nine small lot houses have been proposed at 11370-11376 West Ovada Place in Bel Air. The project proposal includes constructing the small lot houses and demolition of an on-site fourplex built in the 1940s. The project site will be divided into nine lots. Architect Amit Apel is designing the houses. San Marino-based entity 11370 Ovada Project, LLC is the property owner and developer.
Work has stalled at 6569 North Van Nuys Boulevard. The project is by Ketter Group, a company that offers full-service design, construction, and development. The ground was expected to break in the second quarter of 2020. The Van Nuys site previously housed a couple of small commercial buildings, which have since been demolished.
A supportive housing project at 6604 South West Boulevard in Hyde Park is under construction. The project proposal includes the construction of a four-story structure featuring residential units and supportive services. Local non-profit, A Community of Friends, is the project developer. FSY Architects is managing the design concepts and construction. R.D. Olson Construction is the general contractor of the project.
