2847 West Leeward Avenue is taking shape in Westlake. The project is one of Jameson Properties ever expanding portfolio, only a short distance from the majority of their projects, in Koreatown. Framing is rising at 2721 West Wilshire Boulevard, in Westlake. The project, by The Richman Group, will be almost entirely low income housing. It is being built on what used to be the parking lot of “The Bryson,” the iconic, deco era hotel that has also been converted to low income housing. The new project has been titled “Bryson II.”
A new multi-family residential project has been proposed at 9829 La Serna Drive in Whittier. The project proposal includes the development of 42 townhomes on a vacant site. The property was previously home to a Marie Callendar’s restaurant. Newport Beach-based Mission Pacific Land Company is the project developer. William Hezmalhalch Architects is responsible for the design concepts. Hermann Design Group is the landscape architect for the project, designing its central recreation area and dog park.
A new residential project will soon replace a commercial building at 9011 South Main Street in Broadway-Manchester, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of 44 apartments, replacing an existing commercial structure and surface parking. East End Properties is the project applicant.
