A new residential project has been proposed at 11716 Floral Drive in Whittier. The project proposal includes the construction of 25 houses and the demolition of various adjacent buildings next to Trinity Lutheran Church. Plans call for the demolition of the church’s school, parish hall, and administrative building. Irvine-based firm Brandywine Homes is the project developer.

3470 Wilshire Boulevard Set to Break Ground in 2022

3470 Wilshire Boulevard is set to break ground in 2022. The project will be one of the largest by Jamison Properties, who has quite a few other developments spread out throughout Koreatown, and surrounding areas. Plans call for a large amount of new apartments in the area, as well as some retail.

Hotel + Housing Planned At 1530 North Western Avenue, Hollywood, Los Angeles

A new hotel and residential complex has been proposed at 1530 North Western Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of housing and hotel, replacing a surface parking lot and a duplex on the site. Super 8 Motel at Western and Harold Way is the project applicant. Alajajian Marcoosi Architects is responsible for the design concepts and construction.

A new development is in the works in La Verne. It could bring rare, low income, detached, single-family housing to the area. The current working title is “The Walnut Street Site,” located at 1874-1876 Walnut Street by developer Brandywine Homes. The proposal is part of a larger project that would include 50 additional townhomes on Fruit Tree Street.

Apartment Building Topped Out At 3800 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles

Another mixed-use apartment complex is almost complete, ready to be added to Los Angeles at 3800 South Figueroa Street. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story apartment building across Exposition Park. Core Spaces and Amplify Development have teamed up to develop the project. Antunovich Associates is responsible for the design concepts and construction.

424 North Firmin Street has topped out in Westlake. The project will be made of entirely low-income housing, and increase density in the area. The site was previously two smaller homes. Decro Corporation and Innovative Housing Opportunities are collaborating to bring about the development.

A new residential project has been proposed at 1725-1739 Bronson Avenue in Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of an apartment tower on a vacant property lot. San Francisco-based firm DM Development and Los Angeles-based firm Massachi Industries are developing the project. Steinberg Hart is responsible for the design concepts and construction.

330 North Patton Street is at full height, in Echo Park. The project will bring denser housing to the largely one and two-story residential area. South Park Group is behind the development. The structure is next door to 340 North Patton Street, which was also developed by South Park Group, and recently opened, it is referred to as Patton Tower North. The newer development will be referred to as Patton Tower South.

Concrete is rising at an apartment tower proposed at 696 South New Hampshire Avenue in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a 38 story residential project replacing an adjoining parking lot with a smaller apartment building at the intersection of 7th Street and New Hampshire.
