Rebar is starting to rise at 1855 South Westwood Boulevard, in West Los Angeles. The project, by Jamison Properties, will bring denser housing, as well as a few low-income housing units to the region. The site previously contained a parking lot and auto repair facility.
Plans to develop new supportive housing in Los Angeles have advanced, sanctioning five new housing projects in Koreatown, Mid-City, San Pedro, and Wilmington.
Levels are starting to rise at 11620 West Chenault Street, in Brentwood. The site will bring denser housing, as well as a couple of low-income housing units to the area. A duplex and single-family dwelling were previous on the location. SMA Builders is the primary contractor.
Plans to construct a new office budding at 9160-9176 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, are being discussed. The project proposal includes the construction of a building offering office spaces and commercial space along with on-site parking. West Hollywood-based firm, Faring Capital, is the project developer. Gensler is managing the design concepts and construction.
The exterior of 10995 Le Conte is taking shape in Westwood. The project is one of several new developments in the works by UCLA to increase student housing, and potentially provide additional housing for the 2028 Summer Olympics. This building is located at the gateway to the campus.
