An existing apartment complex will undergo changes as new units will be added at 1121 La Cienega Boulevard in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of the apartment complex to add ten more units using ADU law. LaTerra Development is the project developer. Urban Architecture Lab is responsible for the design concepts.
New renderings have been released for 151 South Olive Street, in Downtown Los Angeles. The long anticipated project will realize the vision of legendary Frank Gehry, who also designed the Disney Concert Hall, across the street. Residents are expected to start moving in in early 2022, according to a website dedicated to the site by developer Related Companies.
A new residential project has been proposed at 1335 North New Hampshire Avenue in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new multifamily residential complex with no onsite parking, replacing a duplex constructed in early 20th century. A larger project is already under construction next door. Los Angeles-based Golden State Capital Partners, Inc. is the project applicant. Local firm Aaron Brumer & Associates is responsible for the design concepts.
A new mixed use project is planned for 3700 Riverside Drive, in Burbank. The state review period is expected to end in the middle of January, 2022. If approved, it will bring 49 new units to the area, as well as some commercial space. Toledo Homes is the developer behind the proposal.
Governor Newsom recently announced $125 million in state funding for the construction of veteran’s supportive housing developments across California. More than half of the funding will go toward eight projects in Los Angeles, creating more than 300 homes.
