New apartments are under consideration at the Southeast intersection of Los Angeles and Stow Streets. The project, by Farshid Nehoray, has been referred to as, “Nehoray Apartments.” The site is currently an undeveloped lot.
A new senior housing project has been proposed at 1041-1049 North Martel Avenue in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of apartments for seniors, replacing three single-family dwellings on the site. San Rafael-based EAH is the project developer. KFA Architecture is responsible for the design concepts.
Barclay Hotel, one of the oldest hotels in Los Angeles, is undergoing an adaptive revamp at 103 West 4th Street in Downtown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the renovation of the existing hotel building to offer residential units reserved at affordable rates. Healthy Housing Foundation, a subsidiary of AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is the new owner, planning to retain the building as low-income housing. The Barclay, designed by Morgan and Walls, was completed in 1897.
Apartments at Anchors Way & Navigator Drive have opened, in Ventura. The site brings brand new housing next to Ventura Harbor. The design includes 300 apartments and 21,300 square feet of commercial space. Construction began in 2016. Soderman Ring Partners were the developers.
A new project with residential units and hotel space has been proposed at 1415 North Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a seven-story mixed-use development featuring apartments and hotel rooms with onsite parking and amenities. Plus Development is the project developer. Post Group and Hawkins\Brown Architects have teamed up to design the project.
