AMP Lofts have opened in the Arts District of Los Angeles. Greystar Real Estate Partners is the firm behind the project, at 695 South Santa Fe Ave, which will provide artist in residents units to the community. The design includes pieces of the site’s history, such as the signage from the original tenant, AMP Automotive, after which the project is named.
A new apartment complex has been slated for development at 2649-2657 West San Marino Street in MacArthur Park, Los Angeles. The proposed project includes the construction of a six-story multi-family residential building. A pair of 108-year-old buildings will be demolished to make space for the new project. KG Capital Investments is seeking approvals for the construction. KSK Design Inc is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
Framing is starting to rise at 107 South Hewitt Street, in the Arts District. The building by Boulevard Partners will bring denser housing and street-level commercial space to the area. Plans also set aside some units for low-income housing.
New renderings have been revealed for a micro-unit development proposed at 231 North Hill Avenue, Pasadena. The proposed development will offer small residential units with single-room occupancies. Tyler + Kelly Architecture is managing the design concept and construction. Brea-based entity Hill-Holliston is the project owner.
The second phase of “Currie Hall” has opened in Ramona Gardens, at 1630 San Pablo Street. The project is by American Campus Communities, who both own and manage the first and second phases of the project. The site provides additional student housing to USC.
