The “Cambria Hotel,” has opened at 26400 Rondell Street, in Calabasas. It brings 127 hotel rooms to the area. The project, by Rondell Hotel, LLC, is the lone structure of comparative size on the street, largely surrounded by preserved, undeveloped land. The location is at the top of Las Virgenes Canyon.
Los Angeles City Planning Commission voted to upholad the approval of a mixed-use project proposed at 141 N Avenue 64 in Highland Park, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a building offering retail and residential spaces. The project will replace a parking lot on the site. Valley-based real estate firm Skya Ventures is the project developer. Green City Building Co. is designing the project.
Two new supportive housing project will soon be under construction at 851 North Banning Boulevard and 3552 Whittier Boulevard in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of more than 120 apartments. The City Council approved $45M for the projects. Century Housing Corp is the project developer.

The site is 32 acres and is currently developed with Boething Treeland Nursery, including a former single-family house, now used as office space, and the nursery’s administrative headquarters.
