The project proposal includes the development of a residential building, replacing a parking lot on the site. The project will provide housing for participants in Homeboy’s 18-month training program. The non-profit organization Homeboy Industries is the project developer. Homeboy Industries has long been acclaimed for its gang rehabilitation and anti-recidivism services. KFA Architecture is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
Stories are rising at 770 South Seaward Avenue, in Ventura. The site is slated to become a Residence Inn Marriott. Pacifica Companies are bringing their experience to the project. They have also worked on a Hilton, as well as a Courtyard Marriott in Century City.
