505 North Silver Lake has reached its full height. The project, by A.J. Khair Development & Construction, will bring denser housing, along with some low-income units, to the Silver Lake community. The design will incorporate a unique saw tooth building facade with angular balconies, offering a blend of industrial and mid-century modern appeal.
An apartment complex is full-framed at 849 North Bunker Hill Avenue in Chinatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a multi-family residential development with on-site amenities and parking. Labyrinth Design Studio Inc is managing the design concept and construction. Local investors Sina and David Mehdyzadeh are the property owners.
Exterior finishing is underway at 325 North Fickett Street, in East Los Angeles. Bancomer Construction and Development are currently working on the project, which will bring 22 low-income housing units and one manager’s unit to the area, each of which will have its own private balcony or patio.
An adaptive reuse project has been completed, transforming an office building from the late 1950s into multifamily housing at 3921 Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Jamison Services Inc is the developer behind the remodeling. Koreatown-based architecture firm, Archeon Group is managing the design concepts and construction.
AMP Lofts have opened in the Arts District of Los Angeles. Greystar Real Estate Partners is the firm behind the project, at 695 South Santa Fe Ave, which will provide artist in residents units to the community. The design includes pieces of the site’s history, such as the signage from the original tenant, AMP Automotive, after which the project is named.
