The Automated People Mover Now Over 87 Percent Complete

The Automated People Mover (AMP) is now over 87 percent complete at Los Angeles International Airport. A major milestone was recently reached when the segment over Century Boulevard, one of the busiest streets in the city, was installed over the course of four months. The improvement will make progress more recognizable, and change the skyline of the superstructure.

A new mixed-use development has finished construction at 3170 West Olympic Boulevard in Harvard Heights, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story building offering residences and retail space on two floors. The project has replaced a handful of small commercial buildings. Bando Dela Corp is the project developer. Archeon Group is responsible for the design concepts.

LAX Bridge Installed at Terminal One

A new milestone has been reached for the LAX upgrade. The pedestrian bridge connecting Terminal 1 to the Automated People Mover Station has been successfully installed over World Way. Earlier in the month, 209,500 pounds of steel were placed, over the course of four nights, to complete the project.
