609 North Dillon Street is nearing the finish line, in Silver lake. The project, by CIM Group, will bring 52 new apartments to the area, as well as some ground floor retail space. The contemporary design continues to modernize the area, with 505 North Silver Lake Boulevard going up a block away, and “The Dillon,” which was also a CIM Group project, recently completed next door.
A new residential plaza is finally under construction at 3401 East 1st Street in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of a vacant property lot next to metro’s L line with affordable housing. The project has been in the works for nearly a decade. A Community of Friends (ACOF) is the project developer. GCA is responsible for the design concepts.
Finishing touches are going up at 505 North Silver Lake Boulevard. It will revitalize the highly visible area, near an exit from and entrance to the 101, in Silver Lake. A.J. Khair Development & Construction is behind the project. They aim to offer residents, “The benefits of being minutes away from the incredible shopping, dining and nightlife available within the area.”
A new residential development has been proposed at 1316 Douglas Street in Echo Park, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of ten houses on a site near Dodger Stadium. Plans call for the redevelopment of a hillside property with new small-lot houses.
Buildings are taking shape at the corner of Las Posas Road and Ventura Boulevard, in Camarillo. Plans call for two hotels, 17,500 square feet of conference facility space, 10,500 square feet of retail space, 15,500 square feet of restaurant space, and related parking and landscape improvements. The Mian Companies are behind the development.
