Apple is the new tenant, and has recently announced plans to bring 3000 new employees to Culver City by 2026 by “expanding its state-of-the-art campus with additional space for these employees and more.” Apple currently hosts its Apple TV headquarters out of Los Angeles.
Expansion is underway for a multifamily residential project planned at 3812 South Dunn Drive in Palms, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of forty-two apartments that will be appended to an existing building developed by the same developer. West Los Angeles-based developer, California Landmark Group (CLG), acquired the Dunn Drive site in 2018 from Napa Industries for $7 million.
Levels are starting to rise at 1507 South Hi Point Street, in Faircrest Heights. It will bring denser housing to the area, replacing a couple of single-family structures, and adding a couple of low-income housing units to the area. Evolve Realty & Development Corporation is building out the project, according to posted signage.
Construction has begun for a new residential project at 609 North Spurgeon Street in Santa Ana. The project proposal includes the development of an affordable residential building with mixed-use spaces reserved for households earning between 30 to 60 percent of the area’s median income. Orange County-based developer National CORE broke ground on the project. Santa Ana United Methodist Church is the property owner. SVA Architects is managing the design concepts and construction.
Construction is nearly finished at 1319 South Orange Grove Avenue, in Carthay Square. The distinct design blends classic elements with a contemporary facade. It will bring denser housing, as well as a few low-income units to the area.
