Santa Monica Planning Commission is reviewing the architectural and conceptual plans for a mixed-use project at 1448 7th Street in Santa Monica. The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story mixed-use building with new retail space, residential units, two office spaces, and a single-level subterranean garage.
Telemachus Studio is the developer. William Adams Architects is managing the design concepts and construction of the mixed-use building.

6233 North Variel Avenue is nearing structural height in Woodland Hills. The senior living facility is in development by South Bay Partners, who have built over 10,000 other senior living residences. The highrise was designed by VTBS Architects, of Santa Monica, with interior design by Rodrigo Vargas. The intent was to give the building the feel of a “Boutique hotel.”

Renderings have been revealed showcasing a micro-unit housing project at 1317 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of an eight-story high apartment building with on-site amenities for its residents. Downtown-based architecture firm, Steinberg Hart, is managing the design concepts and construction.

La Terra Development and Gemdale USA are developing the project entitled, “Pinnacle 360.” It is appropriately named, as the location, on top of a hill, will have unobstructed views of Hollywood, the Hollywood Hills, the Hollywood sign, Griffith Observatory, Silver Lake, Koreatown, Century City, and the skyline of Downtown Los Angeles.

A New Condominium Building At 1510 Franklin Street In Santa Monica

Levels are rising at 6200 West Sunset Boulevard, in Hollywood. The building is entitled, “Hanover Hollywood,” after Hanover Company, the developer. The company is headquartered in Texas, but has developments across the United States. The lot used to house a car wash and a few small commercial units.

Apartment Building Planned At 627 North Dillon Street In Silver Lake, Los Angeles

Development permits were filed seeking the approval of a three-story apartment building over a garage at 627 North Dillon Street in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes building a 30 feet high apartment building. 627 Dillon Associates and Galaxy Commercial Holdings sold the property to MDT Properties Inc. for $3.35 million. Now developers await permit sanction and plan review from the city’s planning commission to break ground.

Stories are rising at 3170 West Olympic Boulevard, in Koreatown. The project has been dubbed “The Bora.” Previously, ground-level buildings on the site were demolished a couple of years ago. Bando Dela Corp recently purchased the site for $20.3 million.
