A new affordable housing project has been proposed at 501-525 West Whittier Boulevard in Montebello. The project proposal includes the development of two buildings featuring residential units, commercial spaces, and onsite parking. The site was previously being developer with a hotel and market-rate apartments. Cesar Chavez Foundation (CCF) is the property owner. Gonzalez Goodale Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
A new office building has finished construction at 6163 Centinela Avenue in Culver City, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of an eleven-story office building. Plans call for the demolition of an existing parking lot. LPC West, a subsidiary of Lincoln Property Company, and Broad Street Principal Investments are the project developers. Gensler is responsible for the design concepts.
2024 Ventura Boulevard has opened in Camarillo. The project, by Aldersgate Investment, brings 23 low-income housing rentals to the area, as well as revitalizing the downtown stretch with some commercial space. It has been titled, “The Mark.”
A senior housing project has reached completion at 6233 Variel Avenue in Woodland Heights, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of an eight-story building featuring apartments for seniors. The project will replace a cluster of small office buildings on the site. South Bay Partners, LAMB Properties, and Columbia Pacific Advisors have teamed up to develop the project. VTBS Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
