Ground is moving on the Parklands Site in Ventura. The region, bordered by Wells Road and Telegraph Road, has been set aside for largely residential use. Parklands Apartments were recently completed nearby, across the barranca that divides the property. The rest of the lot remains to be fully developed by Shea Homes.
Plans to develop an office building at 11071 West Pico Boulevard in West Los Angeles have been proposed. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of a strip mall into an office building designed for biotech companies. Los Angeles-based HATCHspaces and Denver-based NexCore are the project developers.
Ground has been broken for 11101 Carlos Street, in Ventura. The project has been titled “Citrus III,” by developer Daly Group. The first Citrus apartments have been completed a few streets away, and work is starting for Citrus II, which is across the street from the original Citrus building.
An affordable housing project has been proposed at 901-941 East Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach. The project proposal includes the development of affordable housing for seniors, replacing a collection of small commercial buildings. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has approved the release of up to $24.3M in bond funding for the construction of the mixed-use project. Mercy Housing of California is the project sponsor. Studio One Eleven is responsible for the design concepts.
An office building is taking form and shape at 711 North Lillian Way in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a three-story office building on a vacant property lot. HQ Creative is the project developer. Shubin Donaldson is responsible for the design concepts.
