A large mixed use development has been planned for 1872 Newbury Road, in Thousand Oaks. The 10 acre lot, at the South East corner of Newbury & East Kelley Roads, is near the 101 freeway. Designs will include 45,500 square feet of open space, made of several plazas.
Rendering have been revealed for a new mixed-use project proposed at 4421-4437 Crenshaw Boulevard in Hyde Park, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of an eight-story building with retail and residential spaces. Plans call for the redevelopment of small commercial buildings on the site into multifamily housing and retail spaces. Local firm Treehouse is the project developer. Architects Orange (AO) is responsible for the design concepts.
Work is finishing up at 950 Warwick Avenue, in Thousand Oaks. The project, by Pan-Am Builders, has been titled “Oaks Garden Townhomes.” It will bring 23 new residences to the area. The style mixes Adobe and Mediterranean elements in a contemporary design.
A new apartment complex has been proposed at 1177 37th Place in Exposition Place, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story apartment building, replacing a triplex on the site. 1177 37th Pl, LLC is the project applicant. Los Angeles-based California Development & Design Inc is responsible for the design concepts.
Construction is still in the works after nine months from groundbreaking at the site proposed for Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Exposition Park, Los Angeles. The $1-billion legacy project from filmmaker George Lucas is scheduled to debut in 2023. MAD Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
